What's up with the Seahawks this year?

For the last two years, we've hosted game day brunch to root on our favorite NFL team - the hometeam, Seahawks. Food, friends and family, exciting ball..what could be better? For Devin and his cousin Derrik, it was also a way to get some exercise - since running from the family room to the den to check out their Fantasy Football stats during every commercial break is such a workout :).

This year's a little different. Our team has disappointed us too many times this season. Scrap rooting for them to win, we're just excited when the team puts up points on the scoreboard. We're looking forward to Hasselbeck returning this Sunday. We remain loyal fans and are hopeful that our Seahawks will turn it around and get back on track next year.

While Dylan doesn't watch more than a few secs of the game on TV, he sure enjoys rooting for the home team by shouting "GO" and sporting his #8 Hasselbeck jersey! Gotta love his optomism.
