We've been letting Dylan take the lead on potty training and haven't forced it. Dylan's teacher told me last week that he's been doing really well at school and better than some of his peers who are in full potty training mode. I was pleasantly surprised as he's only been consistent about using the bathroom for #2. IOW, she's ready when we are. Are we ready?
We made a giant leap this weekend by purchasing some "big boy" underpants. He chose Diego and Toy Story ones. Today, he wore Buzz Lightyear and he had zero accidents! Seriously, is that all it takes (Buzz Lightyear)? Not that he needed an incentive, but we rewarded him with a Thomas train book from our hidden goodie stash. We're taking a few extra briefs and pants to school tomorrow just in case, but I'm optimistic that he'll do well. Now, we just need to figure out nap and night time practices. Crossing my fingers that this isn't just a fad.
