Dylan's daycare had the first ever book reading tonight with a Dr. Seuss theme. As you've read in previous editions, Dylan is an avid book reader so we thought it would be a perfect event to attend. The book featured this evening "Cat in the Hat" which Dylan doesn't have yet in his book collection. To add entertainment value, the school had one of the teachers dress up as the Cat in the Hat and reenact the scenes. It wasn't a Fifth Avenue production, but the kids had a really good time. Dylan was a little scared by the costume and chose to sit far enough away from the stage that he could start running should the Cat in the Hat start approaching him. As he warmed up to the event, he made his way closer to the activity and snuggled up to two of the center's staff: Ms. Sylvia and Ms. Cindy. Can't wait for the next evening book reading.
