A couple of weekends ago, we dropped off the kids with grandma and grandpa to enjoy a weekend at Suncadia in Cle Elem, WA. We couldn't have asked for a better mini-vacation and break from the weekday craziness. We took a stroll through Leavenworth before heading to the resort. We've been there a couple of times, but every time I wonder how a cute (Bavarian) town like that pops up in the middle of no where. The weekend was reminiscent of when we didn't have children. Drinks and apps while we waited for a table for dinner. Dinner at 8pm - can't remember the last time we ate past 7pm! We even got to sleep in. A visit to the spa was the icing on the cake. Thanks Dev for the getaway!
