Buzz & the Black Cat

This year, Halloween wasn't vastly different than the last. I recall Halloween 2009 well. Mia had gotten vaccinations earlier in the day and was fairly irritable as a result. She also started to first show signs of having feeding issues which was stressful for Devin and I. As a result, she was only in her costume long enough for pictures.

This year felt like a repeat in many ways. Mia got the stomach flu and threw up in the car on our way to Mercer Island for the festivities. Poor girl! We tried sequestering her as best as we could, so again she didn't get much mileage out of her costume this year.

Last year, Dylan only visited a handful of homes. I thought that he was going to want to knock on a few more doors in order to increase his candy stash. Nope, six houses and he was done. It kind of worked out nicely since the evening was bitterly cold.
