Friday Night Lights

Dylan has been wanting to go to a Seahawks game for a while. Since I think that he's too young to appreciate a pro football game, I took him to a high school one instead. I debated whether to go to Mercer Island (our hometown H.S.) or Newport High (out of convenience). We ended up at Newport High School which is ironic since it was M.I.'s biggest rival when I was in school. Ok, call me a traitor. The highlight of the evening wasn't the game, but instead popcorn and the halftime show. Go figure. It was a fun mother-son outing.
