A visit with Santa

We just received our Santa photos. As you'll see, Dylan was a little scared of Santa again this year as evidenced by where he's sitting in the photo. He was all excited about seeing St. Nick until it was our turn. On the positive side, both kids weren't crying, and Dylan warmed up to Santa long enough to tell him what he would like for Christmas - train tracks.

We've been staying busy with holiday festivities in the area. Santa visit, gingerbread houses at the Sheraton, Clam Lights and boat parade at Coulon, Snowflake Lane in Bellevue....check, check, check. I wanted to take the train down to Zoo Lights at Point Definance this year, but they're already completely sold out. Once things thaw out in Seattle, we hope to tackle either the Zoo Lights or Bellevue Botanical gardens.

Now if I can only find time to trim the 2nd XMAS tree (btw, who still uses "trim" to describe decorating a tree?) The poor tree has been sitting in our living room for the last few days completely naked. The other tree (fake one) in our family room is done - thanks to Devin and Dylan. It appears that Dylan thinks he can give the tree a makeover every day and enjoys moving the ornaments around.
