Dylan was such a great helper this past week leading up to the festivities. On Wednesday, he patiently accompanied Mia and I on a visit to Whole "paycheck" Foods. He helped place items in the grocery cart and made sure that we got a few snacks too. On Thanksgiving, he helped me measure and pour in the ingredients for the desserts and unloaded the dishwasher. While we ended up with slightly more flour in the crust than the recipe called for, dessert still came out great. 
Then on Friday, he helped me vacuum the 2nd floor and under the couch cushions. Kind of sounds like child labor. but surprisingly he offers to help. I'm sure that it won't last long, so might as well take advantage of it now.
