Somehow we manage to always select the coldest weekend in the fall to take family photos for our holiday greeting card. Last year, we had photos taken on the campus of my alma mater - Go Huskies! It was pretty cold that day and so much so that Dylan's jaw began to quiver about 25 minutes into the session. It took us a while to "thaw" out. I guess we didn't learn our lesson, that we had to repeat the experience again this year - this time when it was 24 degrees and forecasted to snow. To our credit though, we can't forecast weather conditions in Seattle several weeks in advance - even our local meteorologists on TV can't seem to provide an accurate reading several days ahead. Next year.
Dylan was a trooper during both photo sessions, but you can definitely tell that he wasn't thrilled with the cold. It's probably the only two days that he wished he was indoors (and if you know Dylan well, he LOVES going outside as expressed by the repeated "GO" demands, his attempt to put on his shoes and bring you yours, and taps on the garage door).
