Happy 4th!

We started Independence Day a little early this year and lit a few fireworks in front of the house on Friday after dinner with my sister and brother. Dylan was a little frightened by the ones with smoke and loud noise and much preferred the Pop Its. I'm sure that will change real soon when he wants to upgrade to the large explosives from the reservation that we normally get.

On Saturday, we spent the afternoon on Mercer Island and later checked into the Bellevue Westin for some 4th of July fun. Surprisingly Dylan stayed up long enough to enjoy the fireworks display from pool rooftop along with a bag of popcorn. Here's a few shots from our weekend...
