Book Review

One of Dylan's favorite moments of the day is story time - especially when he's exhausted or right before bedtime. Recently, he's also started to enjoy reading on his own. He'll point out characters in the story or will say, "I see ____". Dylan has a new favorite, Tickle Monster by Josie Bissett, a book that he got from Auntie Chelsea. He enjoys the pictures but most of all the tickles he gets. It's quite endearing to hear his giggles and laughter through the entire book.
However, his taste in books ranges pretty dramatically. The other day while Devin's was working in the office, he pulled a book off the shelf, flipped through the pages and pretended to be reading.

The grabber is that it wasn't a children's book, but instead Getting Things Done When You Are NOT in Charge. Most of his sentences were unrecognizable - although we'll hear a few familiar words here and there. Maybe he's learning how to be more effective influencing us so he can get his way :)...oh dear, we're in trouble.
Several minutes later, he moved on to another book The Feiner Points of Leadership by Michael Feiner. Of all the books and videos on the shelf, he selected business ones. Maybe he can share with us a few pointers from the books.
