Week 1 - Mia Update

On Thursday, Mia visited Dr. Shorr for her newborn well child check. Both she and Dylan were troopers and patiently cooperated. As you'll see from below, a portable DVD player and snacks go a long way when keeping a very active two year old occupied.

Stats: 19" (25%), 6lbs 3.5oz (6%), 34 1/4 cm head circumference (30%)

We can't believe that it's already been one week since Mia arrived! Overall, the second time around seems much easier - both labor recovery, lack of sleep, caring for an newborn, etc. Devin and I are still a bit in shock with how quickly the pregnancy went and the fact that we now have two little ones. Check back with us in a few months and perhaps our view of "much easier" will have changed :). For now, here's Mia at exactly one week...
