Swine Flu at the Imamuras?

Dylan was healthy and happy on Sunday morning-afternoon. As soon as we got to grandma and grandpa's, he went from being talkative and energetic to extremely lethargic. When he didn't want to eat, we knew something was up. His fever spiked extremely high and didn't break even with our typical Tylenol and Motrin alternating doses. I stayed home with him on Monday and later that evening learned from a colleague (thank you Gabrielle!) that there was a case of Swine Flu at daycare where we both send the kids to. What are the odds that our daycare would be affected - ugh!

We weren't too worried as he wasn't displaying all the pig flu symptoms. However after encouragement from the pediatrician this morning, we took him into the doctor's office. Good news, no swine flu - just some other random virus. Thanks to all of those who were thinking about us and to Grandma who spent the day with Dylan.

Hoping that we all get a better night sleep. Or maybe Dylan's just getting us trained for September (e.g. waking up every 3 hours).
