2011 has been the busiest year yet and I've been struggling to keep our blog up to date with the happenings in our household. So the next few posts are a sad attempt to catch up on the last few months. Sorry for how outdated the information is.
There were claims this year that La Nina would bring us a cold winter. Not the case as we only had one large snowfall - in February! It was Mia's first opportunity to touch and play in snow - so of course she started off a little hesitant. It didn't help that she had several layers on, mittens that didn't have any thumbs, snow boots that forced her to walk stiff-legged, and snow up to her knees. Once she figured out how much fun the sled could be, she LOVED the snow. Mia's our little thrill seeker.
