Santa Claus is coming to town.

The last three years, we've managed to avoid tears in a photo with Santa. It wasn't easy and we've had to be a bit creative. Two years ago, Devin ended up in the photo since Dylan didn't want to get anywhere near Santa. Last year, Dylan sat on a chair safely out of reach of St. Nick. This year, our streak was broken.

As expected, Dylan was very excited about visiting Santa. He always starts off that way and then backs out at the last minute, so I just assumed it would be the same way this year. To my pleasant surprise, he walked straight up to Santa, gave him a big hug, and sat down on his lap. Mia on the other hand was not very fond of her experience. The minute Devin handed her off, waterworks and screaming ensued - and it didn't stop until she was back in the comfort of my arms.
